About

This is a site to help develop an Association of Radical Healthcare Workers within the UK. The idea has so far been enthusiastically discussed at :

* 2006 London Anarchist Bookfair workshop joint sponsored by IWW and SolFed.

* February 2006 Feminist Health Gathering

* The UK based action medic network

This is at a very early stage. If you think that this is a worthwhile project, please either leave a comment here, or join the mailing list.

Best wishes! My union, IWW, Upstate NY sent me an e-mail about your Association and I take particular interest as I am a Neuromuscular Therapist and struggling with the issues of healthcare and labor organizing.

Awesome idea. I’m a healthcare worker and wobbly too (portland). I think we should really have an international IU site too… Good work

Great idea! UK healthcare workers are being shafted from every angle at the moment, as is our health service. We need to stick together and ensure our voices are heard. :)

dr. jill – would be great to hear some of your experiences as a radical doctor. i’ve heard of quite a few other HCWs e.g. nurses/midwives/HCAs who have radical/anarchist politics but no doctors. =)
